Acerca del Sello

The seal is granted by ASOLUR every year to the oils that meet the requirements described below, once they have successfully passed the tests carried out by the laboratories of the School of Chemistry, UdelaR. These laboratories for sensory and chemical evaluation are fully equipped to analyze which extra virgin olive oils comply with the specified quality parameters.

The Laboratory of Sensory Evaluation of the Faculty of Chemistry is certified by the Department of Public Health as Official Laboratory of Sensory Evaluation for Olive Oil Quality and is under the technical direction of Dr. Adriana Gámbaro (Ref. Nº 2010-12-1-2786 of August 4, 2011).
